2: Get Your Shopping Done at Second Sundays
Second Sundays in downtown Williamsburg features blocks and blocks of of art vendors, authors, food trucks and musicians. We’re in! Where else can you get stained glass, a dog leash, corn hole, art on socks, jewelry and a bag of kettle corn all in one place? (PS: Don’t miss Pop’s Kettle Corn).
3. Stay for the Day at Third Saturday Markets on Main
Mathews County Markets on Main are held the third Saturday of each month. Offering something for everyone, this farmers market boasts freshed baked goods, artists and music taking center stage at Sibley’s Porch from 10am-1pm. Stay for the day in Mathews County and enjoy the waterfront pavilion, local museums and shops.
4. Make Tracks to Ashland for Fourth Fridays
The town of Ashland, VA comes alive on the Ashland Fourth Fridays. From 5-8pm shops are open and restaurants are hopping. Sidewalk sales abound in the Center of the Universe, beckoning passers by to stop and take a look. Check out Re-Funk-It for some really cool jewelry, clothes and accessories and try the Caboose just down the street, for some of the best farm-to-table food around.
